The 3 W's of Mullein

When we first started researching Mullein, we were blown away. This plant, which is technically a weed, has a long list of benefits for the entire body (not just human bodies) and it basically plants itself. In fact, you've probably seen it on the roadside or in your backyard without even realizing what it is.

What?
Mullein, or Verbascum thapsus, is native to Europe and Asia. Its has large leaves at it’s base and it’s spear-like flowering shoot can grow up to 6ft tall, with bright yellow flowers. Both it’s flowers and it’s leaves may be harvested internal and topical use. In the 16th Century, Mullein was thought to have magical powers. Though this theory was never proven, it was the go-to cough syrup of the time. Since then, more has been discovered about Mullein that 





Why?

Our main focus with Mullein is on our furry friends with ear issues. It's antibacterial and antimicrobial properties make it a perfect, chemical-free solution for the irritated, buggy ears.
